12:45pm- Arrive at Norwood for Dry Rehearsal

1:45pm- Leave Norwood High School

2:00pm- Unload, Assemble Pit, Get Uniforms On

3:25- 4:10pm- Warm-up

4:15-Perform

After the performance we will leave our things next to the fence and wait for scores in uniform

Prelims Awards- 5pm



When we make finals we will return to the parking lot to re-assemble everything for our evening performance…

If we don’t make finals we will stay to volunteer with the competition.



Remember we are always performing when outside of the building. Please behave properly at all times and represent yourself, your school and your community in a positive manner.

Norwood High School October"Rising Volunteer Star" - Mr. Tony Summers

Mr. Tony Summers has been a great addition to the marching band organization. His dedication to the group has been total and complete. He helps the band in any way we have asked him to. Mr. Summers has taken numerous photos for our end of the year slide show and is always there to lend a helping hand pushing equipment, running to get extension cords or any of the other things that are not a big problem until they are. He even took off of work at the last minute so that we would have a male chaperone at band camp for a couple of nights. Mr. Tony Summers is one of the many reasons the Norwood Marching Band is great. Thanks Mr. Summers for all you do to make Norwood High School amazing!

We will load the truck toward the end of class on Friday




6:00pm- Be ready to play in Shea Stadium Parking Lot

Senior Nite parents be ready by 6:50 on the track….

We are responsible to get ourselves back to the high school!!

Band Practice cancelled today

Band Practice today is cancelled due to excessive rain and high winds....we will practice tomorrow after school from 3-4:15pm.

Carl Lindner Funeral Procession, Friday, October 21

Friday, October 21st, the marching band will be missing classes from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The band has been asked to play for the funeral processsion as it comes thru Norwood, they will be on the steps of city hall. The band will be in full uniform which Carl Lindner donated to them years ago. If you have any questions please feel free to call Mr. Bauer.

8-8:35am- Dry Rehearsal at Norwood High School
8:35am- Eat/Load Personal Items
8:45am- Leave Norwood High School

11:00am- Arrive at Westerville North High School
11:00am-Noon-begin to assemble uniforms, pit equipment, instruments etc.
Noon-move to warm up area
Noon-12:45pm- warm up
12:45pm- move to gate
1:00pm- Perform!!

We WILL Perform in finals this week!!

10:15pm-awards

12:30pm Arrive Back at Norwood
